We are a non-denominational Bible church located in Hico, Texas. We are steadily growing, but we maintain our small-town feel. Our facility is across from City Hall in the heart of downtown, surrounded by local shops and dining. We love our town, our people, and the God who created us all.

Chris & Andrea Irvin

Chris serves as Pastor of GBF. He has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington (1993), a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1998), and was ordained to the gospel ministry at Lamar Baptist Church in Arlington, TX (1994). He and Andrea have three children: Beckie, Jake (wife: Kendall), and Ryan (wife: Megan).

Andrea serves as one of our Children's Ministers and directs both the Summit (K - 3rd grades) and the Launch Pad (4th & 5th grades). She has a B.A. in Missions from Oklahoma Baptist University (1991) and a Master's in Childhood Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1995).

Matt & Alyssa Hilts

Matt serves as Minister of Music & Media. He has a B.A. (2011) and M.A. (2020) in English from Tarleton State University. He and Alyssa have three children: Liam, Brin, and Grayson.

Alyssa is our Early Childhood Minister and directs our Preschool ministry (Infant - Pre-K). She has a B.S. in Child and Family Studies from Tarleton State University (2012).

Kenny Prescott

Kenny serves as Youth Pastor. He graduated from Texas A&M University and works as a coach and teacher at Hico ISD. He and his wife Kesi have two daughters.
